Welcome to our website.

Team NSH is named for Nan Hinds, a lady that dedicated her life to helping others. Unfortunately, she was taken away from us far too soon. If you are new to this site, feel free to read some of the previous posts to get an understanding of who she was and what she stood for.

If you are returning, welcome back. Much has happened since her passing in 2012, including Todd and Jess moving to Maine and having two sons, Jackson and Xander.

In honor of Nan’s commitment to helping others, Team NSH has sponsored various activities over the past few years, including sponsorship of a Miracle League of the Triangle baseball team and Sam Hinds Racing,  a running team that regularly competes in the 5K run/walk for Autism in Raleigh. W

e are proud to be a sponsor for this year’s Joe Cain Classic Run, a 5K run organized and conducted by the Bay Area Runners (bayarearunner.com) of Mobile, Alabama. Nan took up running later in her life in order to participate in races that supported causes that were special to her. She chose to fight her battle with cancer and to remain on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay to the end. It is fitting that Team NSH become a sponsor of the Joe Cain Classic, especially since “Proceeds from the race … are given to challenged athletes who deal with their handicaps through athletic endeavors.”

We hope that you are inspired by Nan’s spirit and will join with Team NSH in supporting events that contribute to those in need.
